Canton – Florence Gallien, 85, of Reynoldsburg, OH, formerly of Canton, died at 5:23 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born January 25, 1930, in Canton to Sheldon and Helen (Barnhart) Stufflebeam. She married John Kelly Gallien on February 4, 1950. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2003.
She is survived by four children, Dennis (Karen) Gallien of Marengo, OH, Connie Gallien of Reynoldsburg, OH, Rick Gallien of Reynoldsburg, OH, and Debbie (Carlos) Curvin of Fallsburg, OH; two brothers, John (Leta) Stufflebeam of Lewistown and Harry Stufflebeam of Canton; one sister, Cinda (Jamie) Fitch of Canton; and five grandchildren, Bryan, Brad, Brandon, Dustin, and Misti.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clyde Stufflebeam; and one sister, Garnet Bonnetto.
Florence was a housewife and mother. She was a great cook and enjoyed preparing food for all of their family get-togethers. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Funeral services will be held later this week in Columbus, OH, with burial at Northlawn Cemetery in Westerville, OH.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
