Dondra Lynn Rupe

Dondra Lynn Rupe, 86, of Canton, passed away at 10:35 am. Sunday, July 30, 2023 at The Loft in Canton. She was born on December 26, 1936 in Canton to Howard and Gladys (Aber) Clayberg. Dondra married Monty Grant Rupe on June 18, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in Canton. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2001. Also preceding her in death were her parents and son Grant Douglas Rupe.

Surviving are two children’; Scott Montgomery (Joanne) Rupe and Denise Renea (Robert) Ayers both of Canton, daughter-in-law Donna Rupe of Canton, sister Edwania Melz of Trivoli, three grandchildren; Blakelee, Jeremy and Grant and two great-grandchildren; Milly and Owen.

Dondra gave her life to Jesus at a young age and spent her entire life loving and serving him. The love and joy she found in raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren filled her life. She believed faith in Jesus, lifting everything on heart in prayer, knowing He is more than able to do all things. The treasures she stored up will fill her eternity in heaven.

Services will at 2 pm,

Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Canton, where visitation will be 1 hour prior to services. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Memorials can be made to the Dondra Rupe Trust at Mid America National Bank in Canton. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
