She was born on February 15, 1931, in Deerfield, Township, to James and Martha (Crowl) Rock.
She married Frank Tusek on October 7, 1950 in Checkrow, IL. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2017.
Surviving is one son, James (and his wife Chris) Tusek of Normal, daughter-in-law, Karen Gibbs, one brother, Arly Rock, three sisters, Helen “Joan” Vancil, Bonnie Wiggens, Judy Dean, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Linebrink, and Samantha (John) Phillips, eleven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Richard Rock, Andy Rock, Danny Rock and James Rock, two sisters, Betty Walker and Phyllis McNeeley and one grandchild, Eric McCubbins.
Audrey was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Galesburg where she taught Sunday School and served as a Child Evangelism volunteer. She taught Christian Backyard Club for children for many years. She took several mission trips to Florida to aid in the building of New Tribes Mission Homes. She volunteered at Faith Bible Camp.
Cremation rites will be accorded through the Oaks-Hines funeral home and Crematory in Elmwood. A graveside service will be held at the Yates City Cemetery at Noon on Saturday, August 12, 2023. A reception will follow at the Yates City Community Center.
