Susan M. Henderson

Morton- Susan M. Henderson, 42, of Morton, passed away at 11:50 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 15, 1979 in Pekin, a daughter of Kenneth and Monica (Craig) Garner. She married Kevin Henderson on April 29, 2000 in San Jose, Illinois. He survives.

Also surviving is her mother, Monica of Delavan; one brother Keith A. Garner of Delavan, her mother-in-law, Mary Henderson of Morton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth, maternal and paternal grandparents, and her father-in-law, Jack Henderson.

Susan was a member, a junior church leader, and in the choir, at the Bible Baptist Church in Bartonville, she enjoyed reading, knitting, working on diamond paintings, and singing with her husband, Kevin. Her favorite and life verse was Hebrews 12:1.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Endsley -Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, where a visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Pastor Dr. Zach Rogers will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at her church. Memorials can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses in care of Kevin Henderson at First Mid Bank & Trust in Bartonville, or Bible Baptist Church or to OSF Hospice.
