Suzanne Marie Fouts

Suzanne Marie Fouts, age 57 of Ipava, Illinois, passed away at 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. She was born on October 3, 1964 in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Mary Anne (Tuer) Nelson. On March 16, 1982, Suzanne married Rex Fouts in Table Grove, Illinois. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Bradley (and Sam) Fouts of Table Grove, Illinois and Amber (and Chris) Moreland of Evansville, Wisconsin, her son-in-law Brian Colston of Ipava, Illinois, 5 grandchildren; Bryce, Brodie, Hannah, Madilyn and Autumn, and 2 brothers, Jeff Nelson of Beason, Illinois and Greg (and Debby) Nelson of Montgomery, Illinois.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Heather Colston.

She worked in the trust department at Mid-American National Bank in Macomb, Illinois for 15 years. She was also the owner and operator of Simply Suzanne in Ipava and Macomb for 15 years.

She enjoyed crafting and deeply loved her family.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 5th at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, Illinois. Pastor Tim Lindsay will officiate. Visitation will take place from 5-7 pm on Friday, March 4th at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ipava Cemetery.
