Shirley A. Keeler, 79, of rural Lewistown, passed away at 11:45 AM Friday March 4, 2022 at Courtyard Estates in Bushnell.
She was born July 30, 1942 at Canton, the daughter of Leonard and Freeda (Shawgo) Gorsuch. She married Richard Keeler on November 27, 1965 at Summum. He survives with two sons, Todd (Bethany) Keeler of Ipava, and Brad (Amanda) Keeler of Lewistown, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother, John (Judie) Gorsuch of Summum, and one sister, Judy Webb of Lewistown. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Don Gorsuch.
Shirley was a homemaker, and had also worked for Fashion Aire in Havana and for Gorsuch Appliance in Canton. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, and had also served as the church treasurer, and custodian for 40 years. She was a loving wife, mother , and grandmother who loved her family dearly.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday March 8, 2022 at Henry-Lange Memorial home in Lewistown with Pastor Kathy Barrett officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Apple Cemetery at rural Lewistown. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
