Sharon E. Grove

Sharon E. Grove, 65, of Canton, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born on January 9, 1955, in Canton to Charles and Betty (Archdale) Cook. They both preceded her in death.

Sharon is survived by her husband Richard “Dick” Grove whom she married on September 29, 1974 in Canton.

Also surviving are two children, Jeremy Grove and Tonya Grove both of Canton, three grandchildren, Kaley, Dalys, and Hunter, and one nephew Adam Cook.

Also preceding her in death is one brother, Ronnie Cook, and one sister, Cinda Cozart.

Sharon worked at K-Mart, and various local restaurants. She was a member of the Women’s Moose in Farmington, she also volunteered often with the Canton Fire Department.

She enjoyed serving her community and once received booster of the year. She  enjoyed fundraising and supporting St Jude’s Children’s Hospital including having a lemonade stand/bake sale at her home.

A funeral service will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home on Wednesday November 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Tuesday November 10, 2020 at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 mitigations a maximum of 25 people can be inside the building at one time. Please be prepared to wait outside of the funeral home funeral home staff will escort you in when space is available.  

Burial will be held immediately following the funeral service at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
