Betty J. Wilkins Palmer, 87, of Lexington, KY, passed away at 5:45 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY. She was born on September 16, 1933 in Pekin, IL to John Leslie and Opal Louise (Foulk) Williams. She first married Francis Wilkins on May 30, 1957 he preceded her in death in January of 1982. She later married Harold Palmer on June 30, 1990 he preceded her in death in January of 2013.
Also preceded her in death were her parents.
Surviving is one daughter, Patricia (Gordon) Henson of Lexington, KY and one brother, Duane (Carla) Williams of Lena, IL. From her marriage with Francis she has two cherished step children, Donna (Larry) Leonard and Bill Wilkins plus their children and grandchildren. Equally blessed by her marriage to Harold she has two special step sons, Hal (Barb) Palmer and Roy (Linda) Palmer including their beautiful daughters and grandchildren.
Betty was a devoted wife and most excellent mother. To friends and family alike Betty was a loyal confidant and source of support and comfort.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, November 23, 2020 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL. Rev. Kevin Kessler will officiate. Memorials can be made to United Methodist Committee Relief. To make online condolences you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
