Sandra Eddy, 78, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 5:22 am, at Farmington Country Manor.
She was born on July 7, 1942 in Ottawa to Richard H. and Oma M. (Workman) Mayall. They preceded her in death.
She married Jerald “Jerry” Eddy on November 22, 1961 in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Lori (Ken) Fine of Jacksonville, FL, Greg (Amy) Eddy of Farmington, one brother Dick (Joyce) Mayall of Wataga, five grandchildren, Elizabeth (John H.) Leeman, Jason (Kelly Deraway) Fine, Tyler (Ariane) Eddy, Allison (Shane Burns) Eddy, William Eddy, six great grandchildren, Mackensie, Mackayla, Kaylin, Kaydence, John H. Jr. and Kaylee.
One brother-in-law, Robert H. (Mary Jo) Eddy of Canton and one sister-in-law, Pat Fawcett of Canton also survive.
She was also preceded in death by one sister Peggy L. Mayall.
Sandy worked as a beautician for many years in Illinois and Ohio. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton and loved her pet dog Ollie and cat Sophie.
Most of all Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 5-7 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a graveside service to follow on Friday at 11 am at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Due to the new COVID mandates a limited number of 15 will be allowed in the funeral home at one time and a mask will be required. A director will be organizing this process.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
