Clara Dell Rhodes, 89, of Lewistown passed away at 3:05 AM Tuesday June 16, 2020 at Farmington Country Manor.
She was born December 20, 1930 at Ipava the daughter of Ralph and Mabel (Myers) Herriford. She married Russell F. Rhodes on November 9, 1952 at Ipava. He died October 31, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Surviving are four children, David (Kathy) Rhodes of Troy, MO; Roger Rhodes of Lewistown, Connie (Jim) Diden of Canton and Janice (Dean) Overcash of Canton, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Clara Dell was a homemaker and was a secretary for the Presbyterian Church of Lewistown. She was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church and also a member at South Park United Methodist in Canton. Clara Dell was also a member of the Lewistown VFW ladies auxiliary and the Lewistown American Legion ladies auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.
A private graveside service will be held Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewistown United Methodist Church or Donor’s Choice.
