Willard E. “Bill” Camp

Lewistown- Willard E. “Bill” Camp, 91, of Lewistown passed away at 11:02 PM Tuesday June 4, 2019 at The Loft of Canton.

He was born July 15, 1927 in Fulton County the son of Orley and Helen (Blythe) Camp. He married Anna Delle Butler on September 25, 1948 at Lewistown. She survives along with two children, Becky Maxwell of Canton and Joe (Connie) Camp of Eureka, one brother, Harold Camp of Macomb, one sister, Nancy (Russell) Mapston of Hurst, TX; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one grandchild, a son-in-law John Maxwell and a sister-in-law Beverly Camp.

Bill worked in grain marketing management for 37 1/2 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church and Lewistown Lodge AF&AM 104. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and fishing with family in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He especially enjoyed cooking on the grill and getting together with his family.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Lewistown United Methodist Church with Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Per Bill’s wishes cremation will be accorded following the services and burial of ashes will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown at a later date.
