John 'Terry' Lehman, 72, of Astoria, IL, passed away at 11:25 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb, IL. He was born on September 16, 1946, the son of Max and Lois (Horton) Lehman. Terry married Joyce Moody on August 9, 1969 in Mt. Sterling, IL. Joyce preceded Terry in death on September 16, 2018.
Survivors include his daughter, Alicia Lehman of Astoria, granddaughter, Lily Lehman of Astoria, brother, Michael (and Carol) Lehman of Lansing, KS, and his sister-in-law, Jan (and Chuck) Lodding of Lake Barrington, IL.
After his fathers death in 1976, Terry, along with Joyce, became owner and operator of the Sunshine Store in Astoria. After the closing of the Sunshine Store in 1987, Terry and Joyce opened Studio Screens in Astoria.
He was a member of the Astoria Area Chamber of Commerce. Terry loved his dog Lola and watching his granddaughter Lily play all sports.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. David Little will be officiating. A visitation from 3 to 6 pm prior to the service on Saturday the 15th. Donations may be made to the Astoria Area Chamber of Commerce.
