CANTON- Robert E. Fulton, 59, of Canton, passed away at 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton. He was born on September 12, 1958 in Canton, a son of Richard M. and Alma M. (Hughes) Fulton.
Surviving is one brother, Steven R. (Mary Jane) Fulton of Carlock; one step-brother, Jack (Julie) Ballard of Canton; one step-sister, Julie (John) DeFrates of Rocky Mount, Missouri; one aunt, Merrie (Alan) Schweigert of Morton; two uncles, Russell Fulton of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; Frank Hughes of Rock Island; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert worked for Fulton County Rehabilitation Center (FCRC) in Canton for several years. He was a member of the Farmington Moose Lodge #1571, and an avid St Louis Cardinals and Pittsburg Steelers Fan.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the services. Rev. Dean Austin will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Burial of ashes will be held in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
