Evelyn Marie Lenzi

Farmington – Evelyn Marie Lenzi, 87, of Farmington, passed away at 6:30 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Sunset Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 2, 1931 in Farmington to Frank and Kathryn (Vlahovich) Ridley. She married James Lenzi on July 30, 1949 in Farmington, he preceded her in death on July 14, 2013.

Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving are two children, David (Nancy) Lenzi of Rolla, MO, and Jan (Don) Megan of Eureka, IL; three grandchildren, Stacey (Brad) Smyth of MO, Kim Lenzi of MO, and Michelle (Dan) Blake of GA; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Allen of East Peoria and Barb Leona of AR.

Evelyn retired from Caterpillar. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Farmington and also a member of Canton Country Club. Evelyn loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, reading, baking, and ballroom dancing.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Farmington, IL. Father Daniel Ebker will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Farmington. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL.
