Canton – Robert “Bobby” Allen Miller, 66, of Canton, passed away at 4:02 AM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born on August 29, 1952 in Canton, IL to Hirschle and Catherine (Wood) Miller. He married Becky Rader on October 28, 1972 in Canton, IL, she survives.
Also surviving are three children, Shaun (Melissa) Miller, Corey (Jennifer) Miller, and Catherine (Wes) Calvert, all of Canton; eight grandchildren, Dalton Miller, Luke Miller, Jocee Miller, Jake Miller, Wyatt Calvert, Marlee Miller, Briggs Calvert, and Sam Calvert; one brother, Larry (Debbie) Miller of Canton; and one sister, Nancy (Wayne) Reed of Farmington.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.
Bobby worked for the City of Canton Public Works for 22 years and also International Harvester for 11 ½ years. Bobby loved being around his family and friends. He enjoyed Chicago sports and the great outdoors. Bobby was a lover of life.
Private service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Rev. Brant Reed will officiate. Public graveside will be held at 2:15 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL. Celebration of life will follow the graveside at the Canton VFW.
