Lewistown- William Vincent Grzanich, 90, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:41 PM Friday November 10, 2017 in Lewistown.
He was born April 28, 1927 at Dunfermline, the son of Gabriel and Johanna (Zaborac) Grzanich. He married Dorothy Finley on June 27, 1950 at Palmyra, MO. She died January 2, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Bonnie Beth, one son Billy Wayne, seven brothers including twins, and three sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Connie (Robert) Smock of Farmington, one daughter in law, Kathy Grzanich of Lewistown, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one sister, Mary Briney of Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.
Bill retired from International Harvester in Canton after 30 years, and later retired from the Fulton County Court House after 20 years. He was a Navy veteran serving in the Korean War and was a member of Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1. He was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union #201, and the Alligators Club.
A private family graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown, with military rites accorded by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and American legion Post 1. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to OSF Hospice. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
