Canton – Mark S. Buskirk, 60, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the University of Chicago.
He was born on January 28, 1957 in Kewanee to Eldon and Nancy (Hanson) Buskirk. They preceded him in death along with his step father Leslie Kidd.
He married Amber Balbinot on August 5, 1999 in Reno Nevada. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Kathy (Marcus) Beaty of Cuba, Brandy Maxwell of Cuba, Lindsay Buskirk of Peoria, Joshua (Jacie) McClaskey, of Canton, Holly Vogel of Lincoln, brothers, Marion (Debbie) Buskirk of Canton, Marty (Peggy) Buskirk, of Canton, John (Tami) Buskirk, of State College, PA, sister, Robin (Wayne) Erickson of Canton and grandchildren, Abby, Jordan, Cody, Olivia, Cris, Ethan, Nora and Grayson.
Mark worked as an independent truck driver. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, old cars and drag racing.
Per Mark’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017, from 1-3 pm, at The Canton Masonic Lodge.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
