Surviving are his mother, Connie (Rob) Brown of Canton; father, John (Connie) Hardin of Canton; daughter, Allana Hardin of Canton; sister, Hanna Hardin of Canton; paternal grandparents Gene and Phebe Hardin of Canton; step-sister, Hillary (Sean) Kelly of Petersburg; step-brother, Garrett Carruthers of Canton.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Joann Day.
John worked for Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville, IL. He loved to read and had a passion for swords and video gaming.
John served in the Army National Guard for six years and was deployed to Egypt.
Private graveside services and burial will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL. Cremations rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL.
