Canton-Sandra L. Weaver, 77, of Canton, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at the Richard L. Owens Hospices Home in Peoria.
She was born on May 7, 1939 in Fulton County to Gerald K. and Lois V. (Romine) Weaver. They preceded her in death.
Surviving are her siblings, Larry (Doris) Weaver, Gary (Barbara) Weaver, Kathy (Bill) Lybarger, Winnie (the late Dean) Wilson, Lorraine Allen.
Nieces and nephews, Garrett Weaver, Lana (Mike) Downs, Brad Weaver, Scott (Amy) Weaver, Teresa Peters, Victoria (Sam) Cox, Angela (Greg) Lingenfelter, Allison Lybarger, Tim (Shannon) Wilson, Heather (Eric) Putman, Craig (Erin) Allen.
Great nieces and nephews, Cassandra and Colton Downs, Austin Weaver, Alissa (Jonathan) Durling, Michael Johnson, Trinity (Brian) Grahl, Alison Lyons, Katie, Jessy, and Joey Wilson, Gracin and Grady Putman, Cloey and Reese Allen and a great-great niece Bella Leigh Durling.
Also preceding her in death is one brother, Danny Weaver, one sister, Jeannie Weaver and one nephew, Douglas Lybarger.
Sandra worked at the Graham Hospital Kitchen for 8 years, later at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 4 ½ years and lastly she worked at the Cuba School District starting in 1974 and retiring in 2003. She was a licensed Barber throughout her lifetime. She was an avid gardener and loved her hostas and the fabulous 50’s.
She was also a member of the Canton Assembly of God Church.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at 10 A.M., at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. A visitation will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, from 5-7, at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at the Bethel Cemetery.
