Bryant- Charlotte Mayberry, 82, of Bryant passed away at 4:05 PM Friday July 15, 2016 at the Renaissance Care Center in Canton.
She was born August 25, 1933 at Liverpool Twp. the daughter of Arnold and Maggie (Barker) Wilcoxen. She married Kenneth L. Mayberry on December 22, 1950 at Bryant and they were married over 50 years. He died May 5, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mike Newlun, one granddaughter, six brothers, and six sisters. Surviving are one son, Rick (Kathy) Mayberry of Bryant, three grandchildren, Joe (Kim) Mayberry, of Bryant, Tiffany Mayberry of Bryant, and Tammy Mayberry of Ashville, NC; ten great grandchildren including Logan, Baylee and Kennedy Mayberry of Bryant, and one great great grandchild.
Charlotte was a cook for 21 years at Bradley University. She was a member of Covenant Community Fellowship in Canton. Charlotte was grandma to everyone and was a faithful prayer warrior. The family would like to thank all of her special friends and staff for her care at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday July 19th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Monroe Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Apple Cemetery at rural Lewistown. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Monday at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Community Fellowship in Canton.
