She was born October 28, 1919 in Dunn, North Carolina, to Worth and Lenora Pope. She married Arnold G. Allison on July 28, 1940 in Taylorville. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2010.
She is survived by three granddaughters, Kari (Wayne) Moses of East Peoria, Deborah Allison of Germantown Hills, and Kristine (Bryan) Biggs of Edwards; six great-grandchildren, Derrick Allison, Kassandra Moses, Shane Moses, Cydnee Moses, Lola Biggs, and Effie Biggs; two great-great-grandchildren, Justice and Weston Allison; one sister, Lou Crews of North Carolina; and one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Benson of Dunlap.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and one son, David Allison, in 1990.
Dolores and Arnold owned and operated Allison Photography on Main Street in Canton from 1961-1986.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
