Canton – Betty R. Fernetti, 92,
of Canton, died at 7:40 a.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Renaissance Care
Center in Canton.
She was born on August 14, 1922
in Avon, IL to Bruce and Nellie (Hand) Lindzey.
She married Bob Fernetti in
Springfield on June 1, 1969. He survives.
Other survivors include six
children James B. Williams of Evansville, IN, Ted F. Williams of the Philippines,
Bonnie J. Stockov of Highland Ranch, CO, Dorothy N. Harrison of Peoria, Roy R.
(Cecilia) Williams of Lewistown, and Christine (James) Tarr of Bloomington,
several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great-great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an
infant son Larry Dean, three brothers Dwayne, Harold, and Kenny.
Betty was the supervisor of the
Graham Hospital coffee shop for several years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafting. She was a wonderful cook and loved
her flowers and pets.
Graveside services will be held at
11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 11 at Maryville Cemetery in Bryant. There will
be no visitation.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton
is in charge of arrangements.

Humane Society of Fulton County or Graham Hospital Hospice.
