He was born on January 8, 1959 in Canton to Gary and Norma (Jenkins) Jett. They preceded him in death.
Surviving is his significant other, Debra Schraub, two children, Jeremy (Brandy) Jett, Jessica (Matt) Fluder, one brother, Donald “Dean” (Heather) Jett, two sisters, Terry (Guy) Reith, Kim (Larry) Murphy and six grandchildren, Katherine, Brooklyn, Julianna, Adalynn, Brycen and Brynlee.
Ricky worked as a mechanic at Jett’s Kawasaki in Canton retiring in 2012. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed dune buggies, music and tinkering on all of his toys. He could easily be found doing mechanical work at his house to help out his friends and family. He and Debbie would spend weekends at his camper at the Fulton County Conservation Area.
Cremation rites have been accorded in accordance with his wishes through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. An update will be posted when the schedule has been set.
