Occupation: He farmed his entire life. Devere and Marjorie owned and operated the Tool and Treasure Shoppe in Astoria for 25 years in their spare time.

Memberships: He was a longtime member and board member of the Summum Christian Church
and the Summum Cemetery Board. Devere and Marjorie wintered in Harlingen, Texas for 16 years.
He also enjoyed fishing, woodworking and puzzles.
