Lewistown- Larry A. Helle, 61, of Peoria and formerly of Lewistown passed away at 4:30 PM Saturday November 23, 2019 at the Loft in Canton.
He was born May 31, 1958 at Canton the son of Franklin and Donna (Mason) Helle. Larry never married. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his mother Donna Helle of Lewistown, one sister, Joyce (Bob) Madson, one brother, Jerry Helle and three nephews.
Larry was a US Army Veteran. He was a 1976 graduate of Lewistown High School. Larry was a laborer at the Peoria Journal Star in Peoria. He attended Waterford Union Church. Larry enjoyed fishing, bowling, and walking his dog Scooby. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball fan.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday in Waterford Cemetery at rural Lewistown with Pastor Becky Black officiating. There will be no visitation. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Waterford Union Church or the Disabled Veterans.
