Lewistown- Barbara I. McKenzie Gustafson, 87, of Canton and formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 2:26 PM Sunday November 3, 2019 at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born June 18, 1932 at Lewistown, the daughter of John and Ida (Nuss) Young. She married Patrick McKenzie on July 28, 1950 at Lewistown. He died October 11, 1997. She later married Robert Gustafson on March 20, 2004 at Princeton, IL. He survives with two sons, John (Kelly) McKenzie of Dunfermline, and Greg (Vanessa) McKenzie of Wentzville, MO; five grandsons, Derik, Bobby, Jesse, Nick, and Brett McKenzie, three great grandchildren, Kullen, Liam, and Everly McKenzie, and one sister, Mary Del Schwartz of Loveland, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Nancy McKenzie, and one brother, Allen Young.
Barb worked for the probation office at the Fulton County Court House. She was also the book keeper for the family owned gas station in Lewistown. She was a former member of the Lewistown Jr Womens Club, and the Wee Ma Tuk Ladies Golf club.
Services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Shane Smith officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to services.
