Juanita Gerecke

Cuba – Juanita Gerecke, 87, of Cuba, passed away at 8:55 AM on March 31, 2016 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton. She was born on December 11, 1928 in Canton to Wayne and Margaret (Becker) Phillips. She first married Ray Williams in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1985. She then married Roy Gerecke on December 13, 1988 in Morris, IL, he preceded her in death in December 2011.

Also preceding her in death are her parents; one son, Raymond Williams Jr; one brother, John Phillips; two sisters, Anna Smith, and Ella M. Quin.

Juanita worked at Overall Factory in Canton, Graham Hospital as a Nurse’s Aid, and was also an LPN. She was a member of Assembly of God in Cuba.

Graveside services will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Rev. Andy Fyffe will officiate. Sedgwick Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
