She was born on May 5, 1957 in Canton to Victor and Barbara (Meece) Mason. They preceded her in death.
Surviving is her two children, Cory Probyn of Cuba, Rebecca Green of Canton, brother, Rick Mason of Warden, one sister, Sue (Keith) Freiley of Canton, her significant other, Alan Whitehead of Dunfermline and his daughter, Lindsey Whitehead and her granddaughter which was her pride and joy, Emma Elizabeth Probyn.
Lu worked in the past as a teller at Wells Fargo and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, Crocheting, reading and was a St Louis Cardinal fan.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11 am at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Highbridge Cemetery in Dunfermline.
Memorials can be made to Canton Fire Department for all the assistance they provided for her.
