Connie L. Bollinger, age 67 of Astoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at 11:12 a.m. She was born on July 21, 1957 in Banning, California, the daughter of John Luther and Betty Louise (Fouts) Crowe, Sr. She married Randy L. Bollinger, Sr. on December 31st, 1983 in Beardstown, Illinois. Randy preceded her in death on January 28, 2025.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Ronnie Crowe and her step-son.
Connie is survived by her three children; Brian (Nicole) Lyles of Macomb, Illinois, Dawn (Todd) Bushong and Mandy (Wes) Stambaugh, both of Astoria, five step-children, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, her sister Deborah Valente and her brother John (Alisha) Crowe, Jr., both of Beardstown.
She was employed as a CNA for 25 years. She also worked as a cook at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Illinois for 5 years. She was employed through DORS for the past 15 years.
Connie enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed being a care giver and taking care of others.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. A service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Shirley officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service and inurnment will be held in the Browning Cemetery, Browning, Illinois at a later date. Memorials in Connie’s memory may be given to the American Cancer Society or the National Downs Syndrome Association.
