Stella M. Walters, 75, of Cuba passed away at 6:52 PM Tuesday January 12, 2021 at Graham Hospital emergency room in Canton.
She was born September 27, 1945 at Peoria the daughter of Frank L. and Gertrude L. (Blackburn) Keayes. She first married Raymond Hatfill. She later married David Walters and they both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Albert L. Keayes, one step daughter, Bethany Walters, and one step grandson, George OBourn Jr. Surviving are two children, Raeanna Dahmm of Canton, and Samuel Hatfill also of Canton, eight grandchildren, four step daughters, Julie Crocker of Creve Coeur, Debra (George) OBourn of Arkansas, Rosie (Bob) Kalkman of Creve Coeur, and Heather Walters of Peoria, two sisters, Anita (Charlie) Bastain of Cuba, and Melody (Danny) Spencer of Peoria.
Stella retired after 39 years with Fondulac Rehabilitation Health Care Center in East Peoria where she was Housekeeping/Laundry supervisor. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, listening to oldies music, playing on her tablet, and collecting elephants.
Cremation will be accorded. There will be no services. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society. Online condolences may be made at henrylange.com
