Jacqueline “Jackie” S. Ganieany, 60, of Banner, passed away at 5:11 PM with her husband by her side, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria, IL. She was born on October 10, 1960 in Banner to Jack and Marlene (Holmes) Ball. She married Jerry Ganieany on June 23, 1993 in Lewistown, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are seven children, Jason (Heather) Schrodt, Joseph Schrodt, Jeff Ganieany, Jacqueline (Tracy) Young, Jim (Mandy) Ganieany, Jennifer (Mark) McNeil, and Lydia Ganieany; many grandchildren; four perfect great-grandchildren; six brothers, Mark A. (Char) Ball, Darrell (Candy) Ball, Gene Lingenfelter Jr., Kurt Lingenfelter, Jon Lingenfelter, and Brian Lingenfelter; two sisters, Dee Miller and Becky Howell; and several nieces and nephews.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Gene Lingenfelter Sr., one nephew, Jamie Ball, two brothers, Danny Ball and Rick Oldham, and one sister, Vicki Linneman.
Jackie loved her family, cooking, birds, flowers, and the outdoors.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory where a visitation will be from 1-3 PM. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory. Memorials can be made to the Danny Ball Scholarship Fund at Spoon River College.
