Donna Cardot, 66, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born on January 27, 1954 in Avon, Illinois to David and Shirley (Kaiser) White. They preceded her in death.
Donna graduated from Canton High School in 1972. She married George, the love of her life and best friend, in 1974. They moved to Colorado where their daughter Ashley was born and returned to Canton in 1986 where she spent the remainder of her life. She had a passion for all animals, enjoyed crafting, and loved taking pictures of her family. She served as a CCD Teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she was a member, and volunteered her time for the Christian Service Program. Donna devoted her life to her family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, George, daughter Ashley (Daniel) Allen of Princeville, one brother David (Joan) White of GA, one sister, Debbie (Larry) Miller of Canton and three grandchildren, Cayden, Brewer and Hope Allen.
A visitation will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton on Monday, November 2, 2020, from 5-7 p.m. with a Mass for her soul held at a later date at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial of ashes will be held at a later date also at St Joseph Cemetery.
Due to COVID – 19 Mandates, facial coverings are required and social distancing will be practiced.
Memorials may be made to Fulton County Humane Society or to American Heart Association.
