Survivors: daughter-Carol (and Dennis) Greenwood of Leesburg, VA

Preceded by: his 3 brothers, Silbert, Frank and Glenn Genseal, and his sister, Juanita “Jean” Ridgeway.

Occupation: George was an owner and operator of Surber and Genseal Meat Processing Plant in Rushville. After selling the business, he worked for M & M Vending in Macomb, IL. 

Military:         served in the US Army, in the 169th Infantry

Memberships: He was a member of the Lewistown VFW and Schuyler American Legion Post 4. He was also active in Ducks Unlimited. George enjoyed hunting, especially coyote and duck. 

Services: Graveside service at 10 am on Monday, September 30, 2019 in the Ipava Cemetery.

Visitation:     4 to 6 pm Sunday, September 29, at Shawgo Memorial Home Astoria, IL

Interment:    Ipava Cemetery
