Peoria – William Modglin, 73, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Unity Point Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
He was born April 20, 1945 in Golconda, Illinois to Abraham and Fredonia (Brennen) Modglin. They preceded him in death.
He married Nancy K. Miller on January 31, 1965 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Brent Modglin of Peoria, Tracy Modglin of Norris, five brothers, James, Bob, Rich, Scott and Doug Modglin and three sisters, Dianne Plants, Brenda White and Susie Gaal.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Shaw.
He worked for Brewers Distributing in Peoria and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #627 for 33 ½ years retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Bartonville Baptist Church.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Please check our website for times and place later.
