Keith Richey, 70, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends he loved.
He was born on May 7, 1950 in Macomb, to Walter and Marie (Teel) Richey. They preceded him in death.
He married Vicki Allen on September 22, 1980 in Jacksonville, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Chad (Bambi) Richey of Vermont, Darin (Kylie) Richey of Ipava, six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Drake, Alyvia, Kabella, Jemma and Deegan along with his siblings, Willard Richey, James Richey, Theodore Richey and Mary Ann Plate.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Walter "Bud" and Lyle Richey and sisters, Nelda Reid, Linda Short and Rose Marie "Sis" Osborne.
Keith worked as carpenter for Hollenback Construction from where he retired. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his friends. Most of all he loved his grandkids and spending his time with them.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Please subscribe to his obituary for updates.
