Donald N. Robbins

 FARMINGTON- Donald N. “Don the Barber” Robbins, 90, of Farmington, passed away at 2:02 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Farmington Country Manor in Farmington, IL. He was born on January 23, 1926 in Farmington, the son of Norton and Pauline (Lange) Robbins. Don married Doris Patterson in Nashua, IA. She preceded him in death on June 13, 2002. Also preceded he in death is his parents.

Don owned and operated Don’s Barber Shop, and was a barber in the Farmington area serving the community for 55 years. He was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church, 71 year member of the Farmington American Legion, and member of the Farmington Moose Lodge. Don was a United States Army Veteran with the 8th Arm Div. which served in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Oakridge Cemetery in Farmington, visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington.
