CANTON- Lila Bernice Little, 84, of Canton, passed away at 9:37 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Graham Hospital. She was born on April 5, 1932 in Fulton County, Illinois a daughter of Chester D. and Jessie M. Loveland Rilea. She married Richard Little Sr. on October 6, 1954 in Canton. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Richard Little Jr., and two brothers, Robert V. and Delbert D. Rilea.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Sue (Steven) Rothert; one daughter-in-law, Lois Little; two brothers, Willis L. (Betty) Rilea, James E. (Jacqi) Rilea all of Canton; two sisters, Doris E. Hand of Florida, Bonnie L. Owens of Galesburg, also surviving are seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Lila worked as a housekeeper at Graham Hospital in Canton for many years; she was a member of Monterey United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Rev. Rick Atchley will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Memorials may be made to the Monterey United Methodist Church.
