She was born on October 14, 1936 in Chicago to William and Marjorie (Small) Brust.
She married Curtis “Whitey” Luft on August 2, 1980 in Canton. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2003.
Surviving are her children, Cindy Glover of Olympia, WA, Jackie (Mark) Chase of Peoria, Mark (Rosemarie) Ford of Bloomington, Steve (Michelle) Ford of Peoria, brother, Fred (Karen) Brust of Naples FL, grandchildren, Jennifer (Billy Oatman) Ford, Douglas Ford, Christina (Ryan) Bunton, Maya (Mark) Driver, Brooke Ford, Claire Ford and great grandchildren, Tyler Oatman, Finley Oatman, Courtney Bunton, Chase Bunton, Lenyn Ford, Kellen Driver and Evan Driver.
Her children wish everyone to know that they appreciate the love, dedication and lifelong sacrifice made by their mom more than words can ever express.
She retired as the Administrative Assistant for Graham Hospital. She enjoyed reading but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton at 11 am. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial of ashes will follow at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the St Jude Children’s Hospital or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
