Earl W. “Buzzy” Bender

Earl W. “Buzzy” Bender, 70, of Canton, passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Graham hospital in Canton. He was born on June 17, 1955, in Victoria Texas, to Earl W. and Sue (DelRio) Bender.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Bender, and wife Sandy Bender.

Buzzy is survived by his Mother Sue Bender, son Jeremy Bender, two brothers, Dode (Julie) Bender of Tennessee, and Toby Bender of Missouri, two sisters, Missy (Ed) Davis, and Mendy (Doug) Kepler of Arizona, three grandchildren, Ethan, Alyssa and Avery, one great grandchild, Brinley, several nieces and nephews, his faithful dog, Mouse, and the mother of his son, Diane McKinney.

Buzzy enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

A visitation will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. a graveside service will immediately follow at White Chapel memory Gardens in Canton.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
