Married: Estyl married Fred Gunter Jr. on November 19, 1949 in Rushville, IL. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1975. She later married Lawrence “Jake” McCombs on November 1, 1989 in Astoria. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2020.

son- Jim (and Tammy) Gunter Alexis, IL

9 Grandchildren: Anissa (and Matt) Plummer, Alisha (and Casey) Morrow, Dustin Cox, Tara (and Damon) Sherrod, Brandon Gunter, Ashley (and Brian) Griffin, Lacey (and Danny) France, Westin Gunter, and Lexie Gunter 

Step-Son- Jeff (and Brandi) McCombs of Peoria, IL

Step-Daughter- Pam McCombs of Peoria, IL

2 step-grandchildren- Ella McCombs and Cora McCombs

Sister- Willadean Shaffer of Astoria, IL

Brother- Wendell “Tuffy” Danner of Rushville, IL 

Preceded by:    her two brothers, Loren and Dwayne “Shorty Bill” Danner, and two infant siblings.

Occupation: worked at Astoria Healthcare Center and was a Librarian at the Astoria Public Library. 

Memberships: member of the Astoria Christian Church and the Astoria American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed collecting antiques, her fish pond and gardening. She loved to read, knit and spending time with her family. 

Services: a graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Astoria Cemetery. 

Officiating: Pastor Matthew Thiner  

Visitation:        5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria 

Interment: Astoria Cemetery
