Sally S. Fleming, 71, of Smithfield passed away at 9:00 am Sunday, August 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born on May 20, 1944 in Canton to Archie and Francis (Werry) Strode. Surviving is a son Eric (Amy) Fleming of Galesburg, 4 grandchildren, and 2 sisters; Nancy Brown of Maquon and Linda Slaight of Canton. Sally was preceded in death by her parents and a son Kirk. She worked at Wal-Mart and enjoyed fishing and feeding birds.
Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton where visitation will be 1 hour prior to services. The Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate.
