St David –Leroy Burian, 97, passed away On Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Graham, Hospital in Canton.
He was born on May 28, 1922 in Chicago to Frank and Helen Burian. They preceded him in death.
He married Helen Krulac on July 6, 1947 in Chicago. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2000.
Surviving are three children, Leroy Burian of St David, Robert Burian of Bryant, Carolyn (Ed) Mahay of Berwyn, two grandchildren, Ann Marie Mahay, Kristen Mahay, one great grandchild, Hannah Mahay and one sister, Helene Moschioni.
Also preceding him in death is one son, Frank and one brother, Francis.
Leroy served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later was a member of the American Legion in Canton. He retired from Ball Corporation in 1984. He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in St David.
A family graveside service will be held at the St Joseph Cemetery in Canton.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials may be made to St Michael’s Catholic Church.
