Canton- Irene Jewel Hart, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at OSF St Francis Hospital in Peoria.
She was born on July 11, 1943 in Canton to Willis and Gertrude (Rodney) Brown. They preceded her in death along with her husband Calvin Hart and son-in-law, Greg Brooks.
Surviving is her step mother, Mary Virginia Brown, her significant other, Steven Donohoe, Children, Justin Donohoe, Dylan Smith, Lisa (Dave) Ford of Mackinaw, Candi Brooks of Canton, Andy Hart of Little America, Randy (Diane Hasse) Hart of Canton, Margie Hart of Beverly Hills FL, half-sisters, Lisa (Bill) Stewart of Canton, Gina (Gary) Ball of Canton, three step sisters, fifteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Irene work for various employers over the years last working as a caretaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton. She enjoyed working on her computer, playing Bingo, volunteering for the Canton Special Olympics and was an avid Elvis fan.
Most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, friend and loving pet owner.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 5-7pm at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton with a funeral service on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 10am also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials can be made Canton Special Olympics.
