Kaila D. Duckwiler, 33, of Summum, IL, passed away 11:54 pm on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL. She was born on August 17, 1985 in Canton, the daughter of Lucinda Duckwiler.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Xena Hoerr, mother, Lucinda Vaughn, grandparents, Albert and Edith Duckwiler, and 3 uncles, Russell, Alvin and Doug Duckwiler.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Hannah Hoerr of Astoria, IL, father, Tim (and Vera) Vaughn of Paris, IL, 2 step-brothers, Joseph (and Kari) Vaughn and Jordan (and Jan-Nicole Thomas) Vaughn of Astoria, fiancé, Chuck Stoops of Astoria, and Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Kaila was a care provider.
She loved horseback riding, training dogs, 4-H, and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Pastor Darrin Fish will be officiating.
A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be in the Summum Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Kaila Duckwiler Memorial Fund.
