Lewistown – Doris Eileen Hadsall, 88, of Lewistown, passed away at 11:28 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in St. David, IL. She was born on October 14, 1930 in Waterford Township, IL to Halbert C. and Madgie M. (Powell) Hadsall.
Surviving are five children, Jeff (Cindy) Hadsall of Jackson, MI, Cristina Hadsall-Hendrickson of Lewistown, IL, Montie Hadsall of Lewistown, IL, Steve (Cathy) Hadsall of St. David, IL, and Paul David Hadsall-Wheeler of Pekin, IL; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; one sister, Jeanie (late Bob) Hadsall-Bowersock of Mason City, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, George D. Hadsall, and one still born brother.
Doris worked many jobs throughout her life. She was a member of Waterford Township Church and also a member of the Havana VFW Post 6408. Doris was an avid bingo player.
Burial of ashes will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Waterford Cemetery in rural Lewistown, IL. A celebration of life will follow the burial at Waterford Union Church, 10564 N Starling Rd, Lewistown, IL 61542. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials can be made to Sedgwick Funeral Homes for Funeral Expenses.
