Pekin – JoAnn “Biddy” Grayson, 66, of Pekin, passed away at 5:17 PM on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Timbercreek Nursing Home in Pekin, IL. She was born on August 21, 1952 in Pekin,IL to Hubert and Mary Ellen (Eggers) Walker. She married Ross Grayson in 1972 in Peoria, IL, she got a divorce after 13 years of marriage.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Faye.
Surviving is one daughter, Alicia Rose Grayson of Pekin; one sister, Rosie Brown of Bartonville, IL; and one brother, Glen Walker of Germantown Hills.
JoAnn graduated from Woodruff High School in 1971. She worked for a short time at the Workshop in Peoria. JoAnn attended two churches, North Parkway Assembly of God and River of Life, both in Pekin. Biddy was a very loving and thoughtful person. She loved her family, relation, and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, October 19, 2018 at Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, IL, where a visitation will be held from 11-1 PM. Pastor Michael Forbis will officiate. Burial will follow at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria, IL. Memorials can be made to the Family for Funeral Expenses.
