Canton – Rosemary H. Bowton, 86, of Canton passed away at 2:35 pm Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center in Canton. She was born on August 10, 1930 in River Falls, WI. to Leo W. and Harriett L. (Miller) Bennett. Rosemary married Ralph H. Bowton on May 12, 1957 in Canton. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1975. She also was preceded in death by her son Patrick C. Bowton and two grandchildren. She is survived by four children; Kathy L. (Rick) Wilson of Canton, Crystal L.(John) Moran of Jacksonville, FL, Karen R. Markley of Canton, and Steven L. (Yvonne) Bowton of Canton, fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Rosemary worked at Graham Hospital as a cook and was a member of South Park United Methodist Church in Canton.
Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Friday, November 25, 2016 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Private burial will follow at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Memorials can be made to South Park United Methodist Church.
