Mark Clayberg
Cuba- Cuba- Mark Eugene Clayberg, 64, of Sharpsburg, Georgia and formerly of Cuba, went to be with the Lord at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, Georgia.
He was born April 6, 1952 in Canton, Illinois, the son of Byrl and Lena Mae Clayberg. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ron Clayberg. Survivors include his daughter Andrea Clayberg Steele (Luke) of Peachtree City, Georgia; two grandsons, Preston Daniel Steele and Mark Conrad Steele; his former wife, Cora Sue Clayberg of Crossville, Tennessee; his sister Delores (Dee) Weaver of Punta Gorda, Florida; and his brother James (Jim) Clayberg of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Mark graduated from Cuba High School in 1970. Upon graduating, he worked for Illinois Bell. In 1984, he and his family moved to Gainesville, Georgia where he began his career in the printing business. He retired in 2015 from Quad Graphics in Atlanta, Georgia. Mark moved to Sharpsburg, Georgia in January 2016 and enjoyed the rest of his life as a loving and devoted father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. He was a member of the Ipava Chapter No. 226 O.E.S., the Cuba Masonic Lodge #0534, and Peoria Scottish Rite.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 4 at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Reverend Mike Arnett officiating. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery at Cuba. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service with a Masonic Service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Cuba Masonic Lodge #0534 127 S. 3rd St. P.O.
