Canton – Clyde D. “Buck” Eskridge, 58, of Canton, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Canton on September 4, 1957 to Clyde E. and Dorothy (Johnson) Eskridge.
Surviving are his parents of Canton, six siblings Richard (Stephanie) Eskridge of Phoenix City, AL, Joyce (Ed) Sale of Springfield, Michael (Mary Jo) Eskridge of Canton, Cheryl (Ted) Bayard of Creve Coeur, Brian (Marnie) Eskridge of Lewistown and Brad (Jessica) Eskridge of Canton, and several nieces and nephews.
Buck worked in retail customer service.. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Canton. He was a graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in social studies, and enjoyed trains and railroading.
A private service will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Canton.
