Lewistown- Marilyn L. Waller, 84, of Lewistown passed away at 6:30 AM Sunday July 19, 2015 at Clayberg Nursing Center in Cuba.
She was born October 21, 1930 at rural Havana, the daughter of John H. and Geneda (Welker) Meyer. She married Clinton H. “Bud” Waller on October 11, 1948 at Havana. He died July 18, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters. Surviving are one son, John (Susie) Waller of Acworth, GA; two grandchildren, John Randy Waller of Canton, GA; and Julie Ann Chism of Acworth, GA; four great grandchildren, Brandon, Kelsey, Emma, and Austin, one great great grandchild Brandon Jr., three sisters, Donna Chapman of Canton, Harriet (Dick) Baldwin of Smithfield, and Bonnie (Roy) Jones of Macomb.
Marilyn was a homemaker and had also worked at Brannon Cleaners, the former Clarytona Nursing Home, and Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church and the Lewistown American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren she also enjoyed knitting, and collecting frog figurine’s.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday July 23rd at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Bob Miner officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday July 22nd at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to Clayberg Nursing Home bladder scanner fund. To send online condolences visit .
